Idle and farming games that keep going while you're away
Matsuri has two free idle games: Idle Bakery, a cosy cookie clicker, and Berry Patch, a farm where crops grow on real time. Both keep working while you are away, so a minute between other things is enough to check in. They play in any browser on phone or desktop and in Telegram via @MatsuriGamesBot, with no download, and neither sells speed-ups.
Games
Idle BakeryTap cookies, buy ovens: a cosy shop that keeps baking while you’re away
Berry PatchGrow strawberries, wheat and cocoa on real time, sell them, buy landIdle Bakery
Tap the big cookie to bake, then spend cookies on ovens, apprentices, cream mixers, chocolate factories and stranger things, each baking for you every second. Owning 25, 50 or 100 of one kind multiplies what it makes, and now and then a golden croissant starts a frenzy. When the numbers get huge, open a new branch: you start over with Golden Recipes that make everything faster for good.
How the bakery bakes while you are away
When you close the game, the bakery keeps baking for up to eight hours. Each night shift upgrade adds four hours more, and a Golden Recipe perk can stretch it further. After a short break the cookies go straight into the bank; after a longer one, a screen shows what was baked while you were gone.
Berry Patch
Tap an empty plot to plant, or drag across the field to plant a whole row. Harvest with a swipe, sell the crops in the barn for coins, then buy seeds and more land: six plots to start, up to eighteen. Strawberries and wheat come first; levels unlock sugar cane, cocoa, vanilla and pumpkins.
How the farm grows while you are away
Crops grow on real time, so they ripen whether the game is open or not, and ripe crops never wither: they wait for you. Strawberries take two minutes and wheat fifteen, cocoa four hours, vanilla eight and pumpkins twelve. Short crops earn more an hour if you keep coming back; long ones suit a night's sleep or a working day.
Fair and free
Both games keep time on the server's clock, so changing your phone's clock bakes or grows nothing extra. Bakery milestones and farm level-ups pay a little candy for Mocha's outfits, and both games have leaderboards.
Questions
- Do these idle games progress offline?
- Yes. Idle Bakery bakes for up to eight hours while you are away, more with upgrades, and Berry Patch crops keep growing on real time.
- Do crops wither if I forget them?
- No. Ripe crops in Berry Patch wait in their plots until you harvest them.
- Can I pay to speed things up?
- No. Neither game sells speed-ups or boosts; progress comes from playing and waiting.
