Free online solitaire and tile games

Matsuri has three free solitaire games: classic Klondike Solitaire, two-suit Spider Solitaire and Mahjong Solitaire. Every deal and every board is checked before you see it, so each one can be won. They play in any browser on phone or desktop and in Telegram via @MatsuriGamesBot, with no download, and each has a daily deal shared by everyone plus unlimited practice.

Games

Klondike Solitaire

This is draw-one Klondike with unlimited passes through the stock. Build the four foundations from ace to king by suit and the seven columns down in alternating colours. Drag a card, or tap it and it jumps to the best place. A solver proves each deal can be won before it is dealt, and simply following the hints wins it. Undo is there at a small cost in points, and if you play into a dead end the table says so and offers to rewind to the nearest position that still wins.

Spider Solitaire with two suits

Spider uses 104 cards, spades and hearts, in ten columns, with five more deals waiting in the stock. Any card goes on one a rank higher, but only a run of one suit moves together, and a complete king-to-ace run of one suit leaves the table. Two suits sits between the gentle one-suit game and the hard four-suit one. Deals are checked by a solver, scoring is classic Spider, and undo, hints and the dead-end rewind are all there.

Mahjong Solitaire

Mahjong Solitaire, also known as Shanghai, is played with tiles rather than cards: take free tiles off a stacked layout in matching pairs until none are left. A tile is free when nothing lies on it and its left or right side is open. Boards come in turtle, pyramid and butterfly layouts, each dealt so it can be cleared, and a hint, three undos and two shuffles help when you are stuck.

Which one to play

Klondike is the familiar one and the quickest to settle into. Spider takes longer and rewards thinking about which column to empty first. Mahjong is the most relaxed: no stock to manage, just a stack to read.

Questions

Can every solitaire deal be won?
Yes. Each Klondike and Spider deal is checked by a solver before you see it, and every Mahjong board is dealt so it can be cleared.
Is the Klondike game draw one or draw three?
Draw one, with unlimited passes through the stock.
Is there an undo?
Yes. In Klondike an undo costs a few points and the hint is free; in Spider both undo and hints cost a few points; Mahjong gives a hint, three undos and two shuffles.
Can I play the same deal as a friend?
Yes. The daily deal is the same for everyone, and after any game you can send a friend the very same deal with your score to beat.
